Spanish rapper C. Tangana has released his new compilation project, “La Sobremesa.”
“La Sobremesa” is the compilation album released after the international success of Spanish artist C. Tangana’s seventh studio album, El Madrileño.
After the consecration of the artist in the year 2021, with the obtaining of three Latin Grammys along the way and prior to the start of his tour Sin Cantar Ni Afinar Tour 22′ through Latin America and Europe, C. Tangana presents this album that brings with it the unpublished collaborations with Omar Montes, Luis Segura and Omara Portuondo.
The album completes its list of songs with the successful singles “Ateo” and “Un Veneno”, released in 2018, which had not been part of any project of the singer, like “Yate” and “Para Repartir”. In turn, they include live performances on NPR’s Tiny Desk released two months after El Madrileño ‘s release of “Me Maten” and “Los Tontos”.
As this project is a compilation of singles and the official presentation of some unreleased songs, while maintaining the aesthetics and sound of its predecessor album, La Sobremesa becomes a continuation of the stage that El Madrileño began with the construction of this alter ego of the artist. It was released on February 18, 2022, almost a year after the release of his previous album.
