Spanish singer and songwriter Rosalía has officially announced her upcoming third studio album titled ‘MOTOMAMI.’
Coinciding with the third anniversary of El Mal Querer, her second project, Rosalía announced the title of her third studio album alongside a Daniel Sannwald 15-second trailer and a tentative ‘2022’ release date. She captioned the short clip with “Coming soon.”
The lead single from the upcoming is expected to be released later this month. The single is believed to be the full length version of the 30 seconds unreleased track premiered by Rosalía on TikTok in October.
Born Rosalía Vila Tobella, the singer’s made an innovative breakthrough with the May 2018 release of “Malamente (Cap.1: Augurio)” – and the fall arrival of her landmark album “El Mal Querer.”
Fans worldwide quickly embraced Rosalía’s phenomenal vocal capability meshed with her now fully realized fusion of classic Flamenco with R&B, hip-hop, contemporary Latin-American rhythms and electronic beats.
Coupled with Rosalía’s strong influences from industrial visual arts, fashion and choreography. As a result of the album’s long-running impact, and additional 2019 singles that followed, Rosalia garnered a Grammy Award, standout Grammy performance, the historic first-ever Best New Artist Grammy nomination for a Spanish Language artist, and 8 Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year.
Rosalía joined J. Balvin, Ozuna, Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, the Weeknd and Billie Eilish all on massive streaming collaborative tracks.
During a fan meet and greet in Mexico in partnership with Exa FM, Rosalía revealed that her new album will be “very different and will be enjoyed” by her fans.
Scheduled for release in early 2022, Rolling Stone has already declared her upcoming next full-length release as “One of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2022.”
