NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA, Minn. (WCCO) — A 17-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after officers say that they obtained a tip that an adolescent was planning to kill at the least eight individuals at a southern Minnesota highschool.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Workplace says that tip got here in round 9 a.m. {that a} boy was planning to kill eight or extra individuals at Central Excessive College in Norwood Younger America, a city situated roughly 40 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
Deputies responded to the highschool, the place they recognized a 17-year-old suspect and arrested him. Investigators say the boy admitted to creating the menace and submitting the tip to the sheriff’s workplace.
