South African comedian Trevor Noah has turned himself into Canadian singer, The Weeknd for this year’s Halloween.
The television host shared the picture of himself dressed as The Weeknd for his Halloween costume. Sporting a sunshade, a mustache and a Afro, Noah also nicknamed himself “The Weekday.”

The singer, born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, is known for his distinctive singing voice with a soaring falsetto and its singular tremolo.
Born in Johannesburg, Noah had several hosting roles with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and was the runner-up in the fourth season of South Africa’s iteration of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008.
In December 2014, Noah became a recurring contributor on The Daily Show. In March 2015, Comedy Central announced that Noah would succeed Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show; his tenure began on 28 September 2015.
Following his appointment to succeed Stewart as host of The Daily Show, the also comedian cited Jon Stewart as an influence and a mentor.
Noah’s debut received positive reviews. In 2017, he made an appearance on the TV series Nashville. In 2018, he appeared in Black Panther, Coming 2 America, and American Vandal.
Noah hosted the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards held on March 14, 2021.
