American singer and actress Rebbeca Marie Gomez known professionally as Becky G has released her new single, “No Mienten.”
Becky G first gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online. One of her videos caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke, who subsequently offered her a joint record deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. While working on her debut effort, Gomez collaborated with artists will.i.am, Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd.
Becky G’s official debut single, “Becky from the Block” (2013), received a positive reception upon its release. She released her debut extended play, Play It Again (2013), later that same year. Her second single, “Can’t Get Enough” (2014), featured guest vocals from Pitbull and went on to top the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the United States.
In January 2020, Mexican pop singer Carlos Rivera released “Perdiendo la Cabeza” with Gomez and Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó. In April 2020, Gente de Zona released “Muchacha” with Gomez.
In July 2020, Pitbull released the remix to “Mala”, which originally features Gomez and is found on Libertad 548, with additional guest vocals from De La Ghetto.
In October 2020, Gomez was featured in a remix of “Latina” by Colombian singers Reykon, Maluma, alongside American rapper Tyga. In October 2020, she released “No Drama” with Puerto Rican singer Ozuna.
In 2021, Gomez starred in a new Hyundai Motor Company TV commercial advert to promote the Hyundai Tucson. In June, Gomez released “Fulanito” in collaboration with El Alfa.
In August 2021, Argentine singer María Becerra released “Wow Wow” with Gomez. In October 2021, American singer Christina Aguilera released “Pa Mis Muchachas” with Gomez and Argentine singers Nicki Nicole and Nathy Peluso.
In November 2021, Gomez began hosting her own Facebook Watch talk show, titled Face to Face with Becky G. Her first guest was singer Demi Lovato.
