American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur Dr. Dre has released his new song, “Gospel” featuring critically acclaimed greatest rappers of all time, Eminem.
Dr. Dre is the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics, and previously co-founded, co-owned, and was the president of Death Row Records.
Dr. Dre began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin’ Cru in 1985 and later found fame with the gangsta rap group N.W.A. The group popularized explicit lyrics in hip hop to detail the violence of street life.
During the early 1990s, Dre was credited as a key figure in the crafting and popularization of West Coast G-funk, a subgenre of hip hop characterized by a synthesizer foundation and slow, heavy beats.
On September 30, 2021, it was revealed that Dre would perform at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show alongside Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
In December 2021, a Grand Theft Auto Online update added some unreleased tracks from Dr. Dre, but were all officially released as an EP on February 3, 2022.
On December 12, 2021, Dre announced alongside Ambrosius that they have finished an album called Casablanco.
