Good day to all HipHopGetters! Welcome once more to our selection of the best releases of the week. October is being a month of a lot of music, so… Get ready!

Woodkid – Iron 2021

It is ten years since the release of “Iron”, one of the many anthems released by Woodkid throughout his career. More than 55 million reproductions accumulates the original on Spotify, to give you an idea of the impact. Now is the time to enjoy this precious recognition, which lasts up to almost nine minutes. Lovers of good soundtracks, you are in luck. Pure magic made music!

UNIIQU3 & Sjayy – Drown

The new EP from producer and singer UNIIQU3 is a transport capsule to club dance floors. “Drown” is one of the cuts not advanced so far with Sjayy. Here we find a great crescendo of trumpet blowing that breaks into an extremely addictive set of rhythms.

12th Planet – Clairvoyant (Houseloadz Remix)

Dubloadz’s more artistic, peaceful and varied side comes to light again under his musical alter-ego Houseloadz. In this peculiar remix of “Clairvoyant” he temporarily abandons the destructive rhythms and sounds, to give us a very melodic and progressive cut, in which the bass elements could not be missing in both drops. If you want to listen to a different version of the original song, we also highly recommend the remix of NUU $ HI. Two more than original perspectives of “Clairvoyant”!

Refuzion – Say It

This young Norwegian producer already blew us away a few weeks ago with his anthem for the Reverze Festival 2021, and this week he did it again with the release of “Say It”. If we had to define this track with one word, it would certainly be joy. The play with the tonalities and the repetitions of the female vowel provide a lot of personality, while the raw present throughout the song gives us goosebumps with its tremendous energy from the melody and the drums . How beautiful!

D-Block & S-te-Fan – Ghost Stories (JDX Remix)

What JDX has done with “ Ghost Stories ” is not a simple remix. It’s a full-blown soundtrack. A soundtrack full of mystery, intrigue, magic, euphoria and much more. Starting with the voice accompanied by a piano, we begin to feel that mysticism that characterizes this remix, which goes up with winds and strings, like an orchestra until we come face to face with the main melody. The show begins. Hardstyle at its best. And this does not end here. The last two minutes give us a moment of tense calm impossible to describe due to the high emotional charge that it puts us in the body, continuing with piano and voice again. We are not exaggerating if we call it a masterpiece.

PinkPantheress – I must apologize

PinkPantheress’ versatility means you can mix pop and drum n ‘bass like nobody else. After making an impact globally with his first releases, he is now preparing to release his album this month. This is the first single of the same, with which he leaves us another brief sample of that fusion we were talking about that always comes out so well. Let the dance floors be prepared.

Elderbrook – Broken Mirror

Once again Elderbrook sneaks into our selection of the best releases of the week. This “Broken Mirror” is part of his new “Innerlight” EP, along with other songs that we have already discussed here. The voice of the British is a real marvel and he shows it once again. Together with him in the production we find the Danish Kölsch in a deep house where the melodies are the protagonists.

Koven – Looking For More [No Copyright Sounds]

The most charismatic duo in commercial drum & bass is back! Koven returns to production through the No Copyright Sounds (NCS) label to present this “Looking For More” to us. A bass piece characterized by a nostalgic approach, both in the lyrics and in the production, loaded with power starring the energetic drums. We can’t wait to hear it live!

Jeffrey Sutorius & Timmo Hendriks ft. LUX – The Afterlife

The most festive sound is once again the reference of the week for the Dutch label Protocol Recordings. Jeffrey Sutorius teams up with Timmo Hendriks and the voice of LUX to create “The Afterlife.” This progressive house will fill your body with adrenaline thanks to its dizzying melodic drop and arpeggiated bass. A very complete theme with great variability of sounds that will make you hook from beginning to end. What a gem this “The Afterlife”!

Aftershock – Stand As Kings (feat. Last Word)

Since the already unmasked Aftershock joined the AOC team, hardstyle lovers have not stopped receiving gifts. This time, this great artist has teamed up with the prestigious singer Last Word to bring us a fantastic piece. The euphoria that “Stand As Kings” gives off is brutal; we ices the blood every time we hear it. We are facing one of the most beautiful melodies of recent months, so this collaboration could not be missing in this week’s selection. All yours!

Until next Friday Getters!
