American rapper, singer, and songwriter Kali has released her new song, “Chainzzz” featuring R&B, rap, and pop artist, Muni Long.
Kali approaches rapping in a nonchalant, yet mesmerizing manner that commands our attention, as evidenced by the runaway single “Do a B****.”
Kali began her music career at a very young age. At age 12, she wanted her own room, so that she would not share anymore with her brother. On her request, she was tasked by her stepfather who made beats to write 13 songs on which her request would be granted to her. A month later Kali finished writing the 13 songs, which she recorded with the help of her step father.
Her journey to becoming a rapper wasn’t an easy one as she faced some challenges along the way, with the help of her mother she was sent off to an audition Netflix Rap Competition Show Rhythm + Flow but on getting to her turn, her chance was cut short by the judges. She then met a fellow contestant who is now her friend and fellow rapper KenTheMan who encouraged her not to give up on music.
Kali went on to work on her song “Mami” released in 2019 which went viral but she became frustrated, when it faced beat clearance issues. After a little encouragement from her manager, she went on to release “Do A Bitch” which has so far brought her fame and has been one of her grossing songs till date.
Kali is also known for her songs “MMM MMM” featuring ATL Jacob which has gotten over 8 million plus streams on her sportify account.
