The latest Berghaus Dean Street Collection is brought to life courtesy of Soho’s very own vintage streetwear store, Dukes Cupboard.
If someone said let’s bring back loads of really cool outdoor jackets from the golden era of gabber & glowsticks it would probably look something like the Berghaus Dean Street Collection. Back in the early 90s Berghaus jackets were just as good on a ramble through Ramsbottom as they were on a muddy rave field in Rochdale. As rave culture swept the nation so did the need for a performance jacket that was waterproof and that also kept you warm in the early hours. The Dean Street Collection really taps into that early rave scene nostalgia with classic colour blocking jackets from an era of substances, smiley faces & soulful gatherings.
For the latest Dean Street Collection Berghaus have teamed up with Soho’s very own streetwear vintage store, Duke Cupboard. Throwing a spotlight on the latest archive inspired offerings with an editorial, as well as an in store archive which will run over the coming weeks. The collection itself is packed full of the usual vintage styles such as the rather tasty Tempest 89′ jacket which now drops in an updated lilac colourway. The Ski-Smock 86′ is also treated to a revival release alongside a range of fleeces & overhead down jackets all boasting that classic ravers outdoor style.
